Gasification System We offer a simple and inexpensive biomass burning system using environmentally friendly wood gasification technology capable of burning a wide range of fuels in an output range 1 MW to 30 MW (3 to 100MMBTU/hr) and generating heat and/or electricity for variety of users.
Gasifier/burner installations. Technology description: Direct combustion is the common way of converting dry wood fuels to heat. Such systems are typically suited for relatively uniform and dry fuels. Relatively high emissions are associated with this type of combustion and the flue gas needs to be cleaned before the discharge to the atmosphere by multicyclones, baghouses, scrubbers or electrostatic precipitators. Such cleaning devices are expensive both in terms of capital cost and maintenance.
Rather than burning the solid fuels directly, the gasification converts it into the syngas containing basically all the fuel components. The fuel decomposition into the gas takes place entirely in the fuel bed allowing burning of fuels with high-moisture content. The resulting gas is then burned and the generated heat is used for the heat transfer e.g. in a boiler. The flue gas particulate emissions are very low meeting local regulations without flue cleaning cyclones or filters.
